ALLOWING: The Foundation of Holistic Nursing Practice (aka “Don’t just do something!”) will be presented by Jalma Marcus RN, BS, MS, CBP, AT, HNB-BC. Self-care and compassionate presence are two basic skills of holistic nursing. Answering the question, how does the act of allowing assist in facilitating healing and wellness, Jalma will provide opportunities to understand the role of energy, and how the skills of intention and allowing are incorporated into mind-body modalities and techniques. Participants will learn some specific techniques from the Body Talk and Accunect Systems which can be utilized to address the balancing of the Fight/Flight/Freeze response.

This course is a 60 minute course, worth a total of 1 CNE for $8 at the member price and $10 at the non-member price.

About Jalma Marcus herself…
Jalma Mesnick Marcus, MS, RN, BS, HNP-BC, CBP,CLE, AT, earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Boston University School of Nursing, holds a certificate in Outcomes Management, is a Certified Accunect, BodyTalk Practitioner, Access Trainer , Accunect Selfcare Instructor, Certified Life Style Educator, and Board Certified Holistic Nurse. She has held faculty positions at Boston College, Villanova University, and has leadership and clinical experience in Medicine, Surgery, Trauma and Psychiatry. Presently, Jalma utilizes her intensive knowledge in Chaos and Systems theory, energy and shamanic healing to provide holistic alignment for healthcare, corporate and other nonprofit organizations with Providence Consulting, has a private quantum wellness practice and is Adjunct Faculty in the Holistic Nursing Program at Immaculata University
