Valuable Innovation and Leadership Ability

This diversity contributes to having the valuable innovation and leadership ability of “holistic perception”.
Holistic Perception
Do you realize how skillful you are? You can zoom in and focus on the single point of the symptom and its prescribed treatment. At the same time zoom out and see that detail in the whole picture of our days task or a person’s story. Then you reposition your perspective to understand that of the person in your care and meet them where they are without losing track of the important point and at the same time keeping things rolling along smoothly on the treadmill of the system or business you are working in.
There’s a Trick
You have mastered the trick! What’s the trick? Making it look easy!!
Nurses relate to people of diversity. Diverse beliefs, experiences, roles, perceptions, gifts and challenges. You can channel that knowledge into a book, a service or a solution and improve peoples lives.
To emerge from the mass of experience to teach, inspire or innovate will requires even more skills. But there is a skill that you have which is highly marketable and easy to use for a side income or grow a business around.
Highly Marketable Skill
What could that skill be? Communication.
Whether you do an interview, write, teach, pitch your idea or do motivational seminars, it’s about communication. To get things done you have to be able to communicate. To lead a team or inspire or sell a concept you must communicate effectively. According to The American Nurse Project, People want to hear from nurses. One of the commonly perceived most difficult forms of communication is public speaking. There are teachers and role models all around you and “when the student is ready the teacher will appear”, according to theosophy.
