Camp Good Days
Mendon, NY – As many of you know, Camp Good Days was started in 1979 following the diagnosis of Gary Mervis’ youngest daughter, Teddi, with a malignant brain tumor. While Teddi sadly lost her battle to cancer, her legacy lives on. In 2009, Gary had a vision to begin Cancer Mission 2020, after attending nine funerals for children who had lost their battle with cancer. Cancer Mission 2020 is a grassroots initiative with the ultimate goal of making cancer a chronic illness, rather than something that robs so many of their lives prematurely. Cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence.

We’re claiming November 20, 2015 as “Cancer Mission 2020 Day.” We’re hoping that your business, along with hundreds of others, will dedicate a post on Facebook and Twitter showing your support of this initiative. It’s our goal to have Cancer Mission 2020 Day propel us to achieving our goal, so that in January of 2016, we’ll be able to bring more than 20,000 signatures to Washington D.C. and demand that cancer be put on the front burner in America.
We’re not asking and do not ask people who sign the petition for money. Signing the petition takes about fifteen seconds, and the impact it makes could save lives in the future.
