This course is designed to educate the healthcare community on end-of-life care trends and to serve as a refresher course for those experienced with end-of-life issues.

- Pet Therapy at End-of-Life
- Communicating with Unresponsive Patients at End-of-Life
- Music Therapy at End-of-Life
Course Objectives:
At the end of the conference participants will be able to:
- Identify two (2) occasions when a music thanatologist would be an added benefit in symptom management for patients and families
- Describe the benefits of pet therapy at end of life
- Describe how to assess pain in pediatric patients and appropriate interventions for pain
- Explain the importance of communicating with non-verbal patients at end of life
Registration informaiton:
Conference size is limited to the first 125 participants. Please register early.
The cost of the course is $80 per participant. Course fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, syllabus, and CEU credits.
Payment in full is due when registering. An email confirmation will be sent if an email is provided upon registration.
If written cancellation is received 10 days prior to the conference, a full refund will be returned within 30 days. No refund will be given if cancellation occurs less than 10 days prior to the event.
